What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began on Nov. 6, 2020, and affects:
- 2021 Jeep Cherokee Latitude
- 2021 Jeep Cherokee Limited
“One or both of the front lower control arms may fracture while driving,” NHTSA said. “A front lower control arm fracture while driving may result in a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash without prior warning.”
If you purchased a Jeep Cherokee that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact your Chrysler dealer to schedule a free repair.
Chrysler’s number for this recall is W81.
